Next check the motion response time of the LCD tv. The better the motion response time, the better the tv with be able to show rapid movement. Look for an LCD TV with a motion response time of 8ms or even better, 4ms.
Other things to consider are the contrast ratio and brightness.
One of the major attractions of the LCD TV is the compact size. They can be easily mounted on the wall, or look very stylish on a stand. The flat screen display allows a LCD TV to be placed in a lot of places without the concern of a bulky rear section.
When placing your LCD flat screen, never locate it near a fire place or heater as this could affect the performance of the screen, and may damage the tv over time. Also make sure that the TV gets sufficient ventilation so that heat is not trapped around the screen.
